Our Ranking Methodology

Every attorney on this site is ranked by a single, transparent Score from 0–100. We use only verifiable public data.

The Score formula

The Score is a Bayesian-adjusted Google rating. It blends each firm's average star rating with its number of reviews, so a 5.0★ from 8 reviews does not automatically outrank a 4.8★ from 600 reviews. Formula: score = (v / (v + m)) × R + (m / (v + m)) × C, where R is the firm's rating, v its review count, C the dataset's mean rating, and m a prior weight.

What we do NOT use

We do not use win rates, settlement amounts, advertising spend, or any pay-to-play signal — those are either unverifiable or create perverse incentives. We never invent statistics.

Data source & refresh
